It is a closed room with two entrances, one next to the other. One is labeled men and the other women. The interior of the room is dark, only dimly lit. The inside of it is partitioned with a polymer or glass pane just like the entrances. The person who enters the room on each side is being observed from each side and can see the observer.

The attention is directed towards the opposite side which is potentially foreign, an empty sign or a taboo for anyone who is on his or her side. The field of communication is under the surveillance of the observers.
